Hello and welcome to my website. I am a fiddler and guitarist and play bluegrass and western swing with passion!
For many years, I have played on the Australian music scene as a sideman and as a bandleader. I have always loved the 'classic' sound of traditional music and my influences include the great players of the genres. I have also been lucky enough to play with many talented Australian singers and musicians, who have all helped in shaping my musical style.

Out now is the new Bluegrass Parkway CD, 'Southern Flavor', which was launched at Harrietville in November. We are all proud of it and we got a great reaction when we played it live. You can pick it up at any gig or via the BGP website. Bluegrass Parkway will be at the 2013 National Folk Festival in Canberra, which we are very happy to be booked for.
There will be a Baylor Brothers/Dancehall Racketeers show at the next Brunswick Music Festival on 24 March 2013. It's been a little while since we last played and we are all really fired up for it. It's always exciting to play in Australia's "Music City" and the Brunswick Music Festival has been great to us over the years.
Just prior to that, on 20 March, we are really looking forward to finally get to play with the fabulous Strzlecki Stringbusters at Yinnar. This one has been a long time coming and it's going to be extra special as none other than Mike Compton will be on the bill as well. This will no doubt be a night to remember!
Not long to go now to the 'Bluegrass Music Cruise' featuring many of the finest Australian and New Zealand bluegrass bands (with a few US ring-ins!). There is already a great buzz going around for this. It begins in Sydney and ends up in Fremantle (via NZ and TAS).
I am thrilled to be doing another master class prior to the 2013 National Folk Festival in my home town of Canberra. I really enjoyed that last one I did in 2008 and got great feedback, so I am really looking forward to it again. I'll be putting a lot of work into preparing a program that will be stimulating, informative and fun! Have a look at the NFF website and make a week of it - the classes precede the best festival around!
